In 2024 I worked at Rivka as a Shopify Developer on three projects, presented here as one engagement: custom components in Liquid for two Shopify stores, bug fixing in those stores, and my participation in the development of a promo codes app built with Remix and React. The projects are confidential, so there are no public links.

Problem

Two Shopify stores needed components built to their own requirements instead of prebuilt commercial templates, and live stores needed bugs resolved while respecting each store’s existing architecture. In parallel, the team was building a promo codes app with Remix and React.

Solution

I wrote the components in Liquid with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Tailwind CSS, managed the work in Git and GitHub, and used metafields and Shopify CLI to ship features on live stores. I resolved the script and style conflicts that appeared when integrating third-party apps, and I contributed to the promo codes app with Remix and React.

  1. Custom Liquid components

    I built and maintained custom components and themes from scratch for two Shopify stores with Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, styled with Tailwind CSS.
